Regional Staff link to free Acrobat Reader

In addition to the central office staff of the of Women’s and Children’s Health Section, there are regional consultants stationed throughout the state.

Each Region has at least one consultant representing the following disciplines or programs:

Child Health Nursing
Genetic Counseling
Immunization Program
Nutrition Services
Physical Therapy
School Health Nursing
Sickle Cell Education
Social Work
Women's Health Nursing
Child Health Speech/Language
Child Health Audiology
Early Intervention Specialists

These consultants work with staff from community agencies (local health departments, hospitals, health centers, schools, child cares, and managed care organizations, etc.) within the counties that make up their coverage area. The consultants work as liaisons between these agencies and the Branches, to promote, implement, and monitor programs as well as advocate for the needs and concerns of these agencies. Should you have a question concerning any of the programs or activities, please call the Section office and you will be referred to the appropriate staff member.
